We have now made it to OUR 51st Family Reunion!! Over the past 51 years, there have been so many worldly events both good and bad (the most recent being COVID and Monkey Pox) which we have sustained through them all! During these times we have lost so many loved ones along the way but let us not forget the memories and love that have been shared during these times as well!
Family reunions are the place where you remember where you came from. A family reunion is more than a party. It's the chance to celebrate your heritage. A family reunion is the greatest tradition you could ever start and never end. Reunions reinforce our common bonds, regenerate our friendships, and reinvigorate our spirits in appreciation of life's different but parallel journeys. Reunions normally last only a day or two. By the time you wrap yourself in the good feeling of renewed camaraderie, it's time to say goodbye.
It is important during this 51sth Family Reunion that we gather as a family in love! So, we ask that you do the following below (1-3) to ensure that we make this 50th Year a memorable one and a benchmarker for more to come!

Please register and pay your down payment as early as possible and follow the monetary fee deadlines that have been given. This is important to ensure that all fees are paid timely and that there is no extra burden or stress on those planning the reunion.

Please spread the word to loved ones who have never been or even to those that have not been in a while. It is vital that we have significant participation from our family to continue the success of the reunions going forward. (Remember we're not getting any younger).

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE REGARDING REGISTRATION
Check-in time is at 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is at 12:00 p.m.
For early check-in or late check-out please make sure to let the hotel know before your arrival.
The cut-off date for hotel registration is
June 15th 2024 (first come, first serve).
PAYMENT INFORMATION
HOTEL
There has been a limited number of rooms reserved, therefore it is crucial that you book your room(s) as soon as possible. Once the allotted rooms have been filled the room rates are subject to increase tremendously based on availability. What does this mean? If you do not block your room within the number of rooms that are blocked for the reunion then you will have to pay an increased rate amount and/or may have to book at another nearby hotel.
Those wanting to extend their stay before July 19th or after July 21st will be able to do so by booking through the hotel registration link provided on the Registration Information page.
Registration and fees are due by May 31st at 11:59 p.m. CST. All rates/fees are individually based - per person.

We WILL NOT accept money on the day of the family reunion (unless approved by the Detroit host team). 1/2 of your registration fees must be paid by APRIL 1st, 2024 11:59 CST. ALL registration fees MUST BE PAID BY MAY 31st, 2024 11:59 CST. Those who do not pay all fees by July 1st will NOT be able to attend the banquet (unless they have spoken to Andrae Jones)

You will need to register regardless if you are staying at the hotel or not.

There are NO REFUNDS (unless approved by the Detroit host team). ANY payments made are final.

For the 2024 year, there will be NO CHECKS. This is to ensure that there are no bounced checks that will put the host team in a deficit. To replace this, we will accept money orders that can be made payable to the Ross-Perkins Family Reunion. All fully paid registrants can attend the banquet, and you will be given a ticket or wristband upon registration check-in at the hotel (in your welcome bag). You WILL NOT be able to attend without it. Anyone that is not staying at the hotel will still need to come and register during welcome registration hours to receive your banquet ticket (or wristband) and other information.
You can purchase family reunion T-shirts via online registration. There will be a limited number/sizes available at the reunion.

If you are paying with PayPal, Zelle, or Cashapp please add $3 to your total registration fees (this is for the service charges that these options charge to obtain the funds).
